Thanks Ellen. I usually do a small 'thumbnail' watercolour sketch initially to work out the idea that I have, then loosely lay down the content in pencil. I work on the larger areas first - in this case the dark background and larger areas of lighter tone. Lastly it's the details - kept minimal

Bless you - that's a lovely thing to say. It is a frightening world at the moment. Twitter (which I still keep up with, but post very little on) is also much occupied with dreadful world events - rightly so I suppose. All the more important though, I agree, that we see some light on social media!
