Visa and Mastercard now say you can't pay for WoW. Magic the Gathering. FFXIV. DnD. Lord of the Rings. Because they're all "adult" content against their ToS just for being "fantasy".

Let that sink in.

Spread this like wildfire and have people in those circles call them. No quarter.

So things got a little crazy today. MasterCard refused to create a new complaint for me since my phone number already has 10 on them. Visa went back to its old script both times I called. PayPal however, lost its mind. -

Just a reminder, banning porn doesn't just mean going after OnlyFans or Pornhub. It also means banning written erotica. Smutty voice audios. Video games with sexual content. Your favorite romantasy novels. Fetish photography. Erotic art.

It's never just about pornographic films.

YOUR VOICE MATTERS. They have spent billions and billions and years and years convincing us that what we have to say as common folk is worthless because of not paying for their degrees or programs.

Want some variety in what you call Visa and Mastercard for? Pick a movie with any sort of violent or sexual theme and say you want to buy it, but make sure to tell them about the themes their TOS doesn't allow. Ask them if it's ok bc their own rules sure don't say so and oh man it's just such a mess

Got to the calls late today, but they were certainly interesting. When I asked PayPal why it was censoring games they told me the government was making them. When I asked which government, they said they didn't have to tell me.

Yet another weird excuse from PayPal. -

It would be REALLY funny if Visa suddenly got tips from thousands of people reporting every store that has ever carried an official Star Wars movie.

Those are just jam-packed with 'non-consentual mutilation of a person or body part', which is apparently against the rules to distribute.

Talking to indie devs, these things shock them most about adult games:

* Adult games are *manually* reviewed by someone at Valve, and this can take weeks

* Valve has no clear guidelines on acceptable adult content

* Rejections never come with a solid explanation

* There is no appeals process

Visa has dropped it's script! Not sure if this was a work form on high because it simply wasn't working, or they've just gotten tired of it, but they're now just accepting the complaints. They're not actually filing them, but they've stopped arguing. Which means-
