The sentiment in the adb podcast was a bit like yeah we get you want to be anonymous maybe, but do you really have a good reason for it? It think that's bad. Handing over my id to a US corporation or any corporation is a very big deal and I don't feel them fighting malware justifies that.

I don't think that's entirely correct, you as a device owner can still install whatever using adb. It's way more difficult for developers though that have reasons not to publish through Google Play or just don't want to give up their identity for the privilege to distribute an app...

Hmm I get yet another screen 😬 But I think the gist of it is that I have 1password set as my "preferred service for passwords, passkeys and autofill" (when I click the "change" button, but I can't screenshot that screen). I think this only started working properly on android 14+ by the way.

I'm using passkeys with 1password and Firefox all the time so maybe it's a setup thing?

I'd hope so, but using MCP to create new and unexpected sounds might work. Maybe for me to create new presets or even just as a feature. But for that I want to see if "showing" the sound to the LLM would give better results.

Here's a demo (had as slightly better one but didn't capture the sound for that unfortunately). I can make better snare drums myself but it's not bad for a proof of concept :D
