If your political representatives are suddenly waxing poetic about the importance of buying American, look at the clothing they’re wearing and where it was made.
Kinda weird to justify an insane trade war and increasing inflation, all while wearing a suit that isn’t even made here 🙃
This was one of our big projects for February!
My shop put together the undersuit and musclesuit for this costume! Woodman Classics (a studio down the road from us) fabricated the armor pieces (all molded/cast).
This project took us 16 days! It was made for Kai Cenat!
Should be shop mate, but honestly, same energy.
Harrison was definitely the best shipmate! Creating with another person in the same (or close) space is a damn good experience.
Also, yes, I will be opening up private commissions in a couple months after we complete our current projects.
We did a small run of spicy shop shirts and we have some extras! If you would like to get one, send me a DM!
These are screen printed in house!
We started putting together some (in my opinion) very cute gift ideas for the holidays.
First up, natural finish and hand dyed leather coasters.
Really enjoyed getting to work with @volpinprops.bsky.social on this project. Felt a bit like old times (we used to share the same shop space)!
My shop handled all the fabric/leather parts for Caitlyn 🪡
Digital simulations help us avoid surprises later down the line. This also allows everyone involved in the project to see a clear roadmap. The simulation is extrapolated from real measurements (and fabric/knit properties), so what you see is what you get!
After we make a swatch, we do a digital simulation that shows how everything will look once it has all been knitted and linked. After drafting 2D patterns, we set up a digital mannequin and run a sewing simulation. We use Gerber Accumark patterning software for this process.
Dang, I hadn’t seen this yet! I stitched this flag together for @volpinprops.bsky.social ! 🪡 The flag pole is so fancy ✨
We used Caron Simply Soft Solid Yarn for the majority of this sweater. You can get it at Michaels: www.michaels.com/product/caro...
Sorry to anyone in Atlanta that needed Sage Green in September. We bought every skein we could find near us!
How do we make custom sweaters? We start with a gauge swatch. This helps us sample different stitch patterns, yarns, and tension settings before committing to a final piece. Here are our swatches from the Michael’s project:
We made a very large sweater for the Michael’s holiday ad campaign. This was knitted on our vintage Singer 155 machine with custom designed punchcards! There are also some crochet elements on the front. Costume design by Alisha Silverstein.
