Aquamarine is the blue variant of beryl, a family of beautiful silicates that include emerald too
In the past, beryls has been used as lens so l wanted to incorporate this idea in the illustration

A scene is happening, a character with a top hat is holding a rope connected to a rooftop with his comrades holding the same rope. On the rooftop a woman, probably one of the owner of the town, is talking with workers, she hold a contract in one hand and a lamp in the other. The mood of the painting is blueish and atmospheric. The foreground are made of leaves and branches.

An illustration of my two sharkfolk characters, Roberto, a great hammerhead shark, and Marina, a great white shark. Roberto is sitting on a small stool touching up his tattoos with his childhood friend Marina in her tattoo studio. The background shows pots of tropical plants, a table with tools, a floor lamp, and a window overlooking a garden outside.

As a bonus, I thought I'd do this little scene too.

It seems that Roberto took advantage of his denticle shedding to visit his tattoo artist friend Marina and give new meaning to his tattoos! 🦈✨
