...so now... i am still art-ing (because thats who i am) but without the intention of selling rn. Its just for me. And im trying to get back to my more punk rock roots style of creating. Both in message and in materials. 🖤

I've been having an art crisis lately in general.
1) i was getting sick of not physically making something w my own hands - only doing the design side
2) everything i was making, i realized was contributing to the deteriorating environment, and waste and bleh
..And then of course everything sucks..

Im stressed and tired and annoyed by everyone and by every thing. But here are some thoughts going through my brain rn:
-"Compare and despair"
-selling my silly art seems bananas rn
-can we please just sit in the silence while i decompress for roughly 36 hours
-my favorite mug broke this morning

Im just over here making masking tape teeth

I've had a cold or something all week - my cough and runny nose have mostly subsided, but i am so ridiculously exhausted today. Not quite as seepy as when i had covid but ... i mean ... ive already taken 2 naps today and i dont foresee staying awake too much longer rn.

Between my keychains, and vinyl stickers I'm creating a lot of plastic and plastic waste out there. I need to cut that down big time. I need to be more conscious about how what im doing is affecting this already fucked world. I need to rethink some stuff and be more proactive or helpful or something

A while ago on threads i had asked for critiques on my show set up - one person mentioned the amount of plastic in my packaging - which i honestly had never given thought to. I immediately corrected that situation, but that thought has stuck with me. I am contributing so much to the plastic issues..
