Here’s to those of us having to stay in the closet for whatever reason this Christmas. hiding part of your identity is hard and isolating. Just know that despite this, there is a community who accepts and loves you. That’s something I hold tight to & remember this time of year.

Same in Turkey! Just come round whenever you like and there’s always çay and biscuits ready. I love that sense of welcoming community!
