I kinda wrote off King Of Limbs when I first heard it. I’ve been revisiting it this last year and I’ll fully admit that I was wrong on my first impression. It’s the sleeper hit of the Radiohead discography.

No one has to gate keep harsh noise. It’s maybe the one genre that does it automatically without trying.

Wonderful to see that in the two plus decades of listening to noise that this is still a thing that happens. How hard is it to just say I don’t understand why people like noise? I don’t understand why anyone can find enjoyment listening to Vampire Weekend but I still begrudgingly call it music. 🤷🏻

I’m taking myself to see Barbie tonight and the beautiful hour long walk to the theater is absolutely reigniting my love for black metal thanks to both Hulder and Dawn Ray’d. Truly lovely records.

One of my favorite things is seeing people 60+ at metal/hardcore/extreme whatever shows and just having the fucking time of their lives. It’s beautiful.
