I think the issue is what are the consequences for objecting to the illegal order? I'm not talking about what's supposed to happen, but what really happens with this administration?

Like anyone should ever believe anything any of these people say. The person on the street could have told you that they say what needs to be said to get confirmed. They have no intention of standing by their word or statements.

It is extremely dificult to trace past that point due to lack of records. A lot of info prior to that is kept in family bibles, microfiche census records. It is time consuming.

There will need to be a strong legal response to protect strong candidates from false accusations and arrests.

It probably violates a whole slew of them, but who will hold him accountable? Who prosecutes the crime?

Would that be a hold my beer moment and what would it entail?

Remember when you could have a pretty good take on how the SC would rule and now you have to add the caveat, "unless the SC departs from Constitution & longstanding law"
