New NHS England Review Excluded 97% Of All Trans Studies To Say Care Doesn't Work The new review has led to a ban for HRT through the NHS England system under the age of 18.

1. A new NHS England Review excluded 97% of all trans care studies to conclude that trans youth care doesn't work.

It explicitly violates several guidelines around reviewing literature, and appears to be politics masquerading as (shoddy) science.

An action figure of the Bloodborne Hunter holding a pistol and sawblade weapon.

Such a fantastic movie. And there's no way it didn't inspire a big part of the visual style of Bloodborne too.

Don’t wait for more clarity on single-sex spaces, bosses told
Geraldine Scott - Assistant Political Editor
Employers do not need to wait for longdelayed guidance on single-sex spaces before implementing the Supreme Court ruling on biological sex, Bridget Phillipson has said.

The women and equalities minister said the judgment last year had been “crystal clear” and insisted that organisations should already understand their legal obligations, despite an updated code of practice from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) remaining unpublished more than five months after it was submitted to ministers.

Phillipson told Sky News she hoped to move “as fast as I can” to lay the guidance before parliament but said it was still going through the required processes, including consultation with devolved administrations.

Bosses have said they are waiting for the updated guidance before implementing new rules on changing rooms and other sex-segregated facilities, but Phillipson said there was a difference between employers’ duties and those covered by the code of practice.

But I thought the FWS verdict brought nothing but clarity?

Last night at the #DataCenters meeting in Claremore, Darren Blanchard, who has attended most of these meetings around NE Oklahoma & has some pretty impressive FOIA/ORA skills, was arrested after going over his 3 min. allotted speaking time. First arrest I've seen at one of these.

in america, if you go over your 3 minute allotment to speak, men with guns come to take you away.

For a country that has yelled about free speech for pretty much ever the US seems to love throwing away their freedom to speak. So many willing fascists.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social : "Whenever Farage says jump, [Labour] say how high. You will never appease the right by doing that. They will just get more and more extreme"

Spot on. This is what people mean when they say Labour is ushering in the far right.

Zack Polanski on how Keir Starmer could have changed the April 2025 UK Supreme Court ruling to protect trans rights (EXCLUSIVE) Zack Polanski revealed how Keir Starmer could have acted to protect trans rights after April 2025 UK Supreme Court ruling.

It’s the Government’s duty to protect all communities - including trans people.

They’re failing to do that.

Trans people deserve safety and dignity.

Hilary Cass here arguing for children to be prevented from being known by a preferred name or getting a haircut in case it encourages them to continue later in life to transition.

Hilary Cass acts like gender variant children should have the transness hazed out of them.

It’s been a grim fortnight. I’ve needed to ignore some of it.

Do we now have a situation in the uk where a trans person whose place of work is somewhere that’s open to the public will have to use one loo whilst behind the bar, let’s say, but as soon as they clock off can use the other?

Absurd.

Utterly unacceptable in a democracy. In a sane world, House Republicans would be drafting impeachment articles today and Senate Republicans would be preparing for a trial to convict and remove him from office

Labour’s Section 28 is here – act now In May 1988, the Conservative government introduced Section 28. This legal measure outlawed support for “homosexuality as a pretended family relationship” across Britain, especially in …

New post: LABOUR'S SECTION 28 IS HERE - ACT NOW.

I explain how the Labour government's proposed revisions to the guidance on "keeping children in education" are designed to erase trans children in England. But it's not a done deal - there is plenty we can do to oppose this.

‘Carnage of concern and upset’: Women’s Institute groups close after transgender ban Members warn NFWI decision has opened up toxic culture that deters younger women from joining

This is a powerful story for me. Several branches of the Women's Institute are closing across the UK in protest at the new trans-exclusionary ban against trans women. It cuts through the lie by the media and GC groups about speaking on behalf of women. Solidarity.

"Completely incoherent":  UK court says trans people can use the bathroom at pubs but not at work - LGBTQ Nation The court found that workplaces have to separate bathrooms by sex assigned at birth other places don't have to.

A UK high court decision has implemented a full bathroom ban on trans employees. It does not apply to the public. So a trans woman working at tesco could be fired for using the bathroom at work that would be ok for her to use on her day off. Absurd.

Standing up against tyranny, fear, and oppression for those in society who don't have the ability or power to do so themselves, like kids, is what actual patriotism is. Blind faith in your country is nothing, standing up for the people in need is everything.

‘Carnage of concern and upset’: Women’s Institute groups close after transgender ban Members warn NFWI decision has opened up toxic culture that deters younger women from joining

At least 12 WI groups are closing or considering closure after the organisation barred transgender women from membership.

Members say more groups are likely to close, and that the federation’s decision has opened up a toxic, traditionalist culture that will deter younger women from joining.

I'm sure these workplaces that force their trans employees into their own spaces away from cis people will assure us that whilst these areas will be separate they will be equal to those of cis people.

A medium-shot portrait of Marty Davies, who has curly, shoulder-length ginger hair and wears gold-rimmed cat-eye glasses and a white button-down shirt. They are standing next to a rectangular 3D collage housed in a clear acrylic case. The artwork is densely packed with hundreds of vibrant children’s erasers in various shapes and figures, predominantly organized into fields of bright pink and blue.

After the last 24 hours we’ve had it fees appropriate to share this.

I’m currently exhibiting a new solo work at Brixton (Tate) Library in an exhibition curated by @rockxaviergb.bsky.social called Under Our Skin.

Today’s High Court ruling found trans employees may be segregated in British changing rooms and toilets. I’ve written to my union, @actorsequity.bsky.social , to ask how we’ll be fighting to ensure govt guidance doesn’t permit that. British actors deserve dignity at work and that means *all* of us.

The High Court has ruled on our challenge to the EHRC’s interim guidance.

The judgment contains some good news for trans rights – but plenty of bad.
