05.03.2026 22:59 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You are making the naive mistake of thinking football is for the fans. It's not. Not anymore.
05.03.2026 20:44 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Can you imagine how quickly they'd shit their pants and then run away?
05.03.2026 17:59 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Dear Shabana, I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank. You said: “A party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to make a perilous crossing on small boats.” I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division. When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney. As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I filled water tanks and picked up litter. What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country. Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it. It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and croissants to refugees and food parcels. When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She said “we have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers whilst risking death on the seas.” She said “maybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …
Dear Shabana,
Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.
I'd like to see Dan, Willy, Sean and perhaps Ao, but we should have proper reinforcements on the bench for when we are one nil down at 75 minutes.

05.03.2026 15:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Absolutely. I do not want us to not win under any circumstances, even if it means scum winning the league as we did before by beating arsenal. I don't get the mentality that says we should surrender, especially as we have a week between the last and next games. Those types are clearly not real fans.

Another one advocating for Enoch Powell - he talked about this in his Rivers of Blood speech.
And Labour wonders why they've lost so many members. Utter cunts, that leadership group.
Yeah, it felt like I was watching from the heavens themselves. I prefer to be as close to the pitch as possible. I like the rawness and closeness. It's the same with the theatre - front row seats to get eye contact with the cast, whether it's a big production like Les Mis or the local rep!

05.03.2026 11:01 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I'm going to have to get my ex to come round and bring in some wood for me. I can't carry it and use crutches at the same time!
05.03.2026 10:41 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yeah, but winning the cup and relegation in the same season would be the stuff of legends, plus European football next season would probably keep/attract better players.
05.03.2026 10:39 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0I'm down to four bars, which is when I usually top up. I haven't used the wood burner this winter because of my knackered ankle and all the issues that brings so I've used the CH a lot more. Extra jumper time, I think!

05.03.2026 10:22 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Those of us who rely on domestic heating oil are currently victims of severe price gouging by the industry. They have more than doubled the price per litre in a few days, despite their reserves having been bought long before the Epstein War on Iran. Fucking sharks.

Remember - we are Leeds!
(So that of course means the worst possible scenario is the most likely)
That Loaded interview from the mid-90s told me all I needed to know, and much I didn't, about him. He came across as a complete tosser and nothing since has made me change my view on him.
05.03.2026 09:55 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Keepers would become targets and players would be trying to take them out I guess, which would make it even more fun!
05.03.2026 09:48 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I was just being spiteful about keepers but that seems like a reasonable idea.
05.03.2026 09:11 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I want a decent side who take it seriously and win. Good for the fans and the club. There's a week rest either side. That said, there should be some chances - James and Gnonto should start.
