So excited to announce that I had the pleasure of voicing Mary in Matchmaking for Ghosts!

Had two stressful things happen yesterday that has quite frankly sent me into extreme worry mode - I couldn't even sleep because of it, so I'm basically a zombie today. 🧟‍♀️

I hope things pick up.

It's been about 15 or more years since I watched it, and this was Craig's first time.

Defo pulled different heart strings this time round - watching as an adult compared to young teen me was a sensitive trip. S1 remains fun but slow, but the payoff in S2 is so worth it. 🥹

Just finished rewatching Clannad (+After Story) and had a moment where I went to cry as it was so so sad, tears formed but instead, I kinda hyperfocused on the curry I was eating to stop it.

Then turned to Craig... he literally did the same thing. 🤣🍛

Helping my neighbours to pack their things/car as they are moving away this weekend, but I'm just trying not to cry the whole time. 😭 they've been so good to us.

Friends moving away is always such a sad time, I struggle with changes like this. 🥺

2 fillings at the dentists means no VO work for a few days. A tragic week! 🥲

Glad I got all my auditions for the week done already!

Was so cool to see spots from one of my favourite films. (And visit the shop to have a Cornetto... obviously.) 🥰

Gotta love the jumpscare of filing your tax return and seeing how much you gotta pay soon. 💀 Timed it well with spooky month! 👻

I really need to find a way of navigating my VO jobs whenever I get a goiter in my neck, though. Thyroid conditions absolutely suck, but I won't give up on what I love! 🥺🪷

Despite being pretty upset with my healthcare situ and a couple of other personal worries, I feel like I did some nice auditions today. 🥹

Like, when I was doing them, I thought it all was going to be terrible, but listening back - I'm happy with most of them. Can't wait to get them all submitted. 💜

Gross 🕷 story!

I woke up at 3am with an itchy chest. Turns out it was a spider & it got squashed. 😰

I got up, it fell off & I then saw it was carrying an egg sack... I'd squashed eggs all over my chest. Ran into the bathroom freaking out... I'm still feeling sick thinking about it. 🥲

3am chaos. 😭

Finally got a few small VO jobs in after a bit of dry spell (well, more self-inflicted stress rest, but still!)

Really hope the rest of this year brings some fun and busy projects. 💜✨️

I've had a pretty rough couple of months in the VO world with distressing project situations + seemingly being a magnet for generative AI projects. It's been hard to not feel defeated.

But, I had a really nice long audition session yesterday in the booth, so hopefully things will pick up soon. 💖

Yesterday, I listened back to some auditions I sent off, and it kinda shocked me how it didn’t sound like me. Like, I can maintain that voice, but it just sounded so... not normal me and way too cool. 😆

I don't know if that's normal or bad, but it was funny and weird!

Decided to get out the house for a bit and go to Brighton.

I'll likely pop into Develop. Though I have no idea what to expect, and I’m an ultra shy gremlin who needs to muster up courage so... we shall see! 🙈

A little bit of Brighton retail therapy will also be nice. 👌

Still sad, life is rough.
BUT I managed to successfully make dango last night, at least! 🍡🍡🍡🍡

(I made Hanami Dango but also made some sweet sticky soy sauce that you'd usually get with Mitarashi Dango... just to dip it in, as it's yummy 🥰)
