Lucianus is unconcerned with the wider world as long as his country remains top of the food chain. If that balance were to tip, he would try to correct it.

Day Eleven: Cheerful, confident, and a bit easily distracted.

Day Ten: He’s not a person that breaks over a single moment, but rather the sort to crack in bits and pieces over long periods of time, until he either solves it or completely disintegrates. So I don’t have an example for this one 🤷

Day Eight: I don’t put much stock in enneagrams either, but Lucianus seems to be a 3w2. Ambitious, vivacious, seeks attention and love from others, mostly does things for his own pleasure or for the purposes of “helping” (read: being needed by) other people.

20% energy for working on current story, 80% energy for rabidly fighting off new ideas for stories

Day Seven: I don’t think he feels guilty or embarrassed about ANY pleasures tbh.

Oh I like drawing maps I just hate having them, if that makes any sense. I don’t like that it “fixes” the world into place and makes it so you can’t really add or adjust stuff later.

Day Six: Lucianus is exceptionally skilled in Effusion magic (the production of energy through magic) and Kinetics magic (using magic to imbibe an object with motion). So he’s mostly known for destroying stuff lol.

Day Five: He’s a result of this novel alone. Mostly his personality came from two points I found interesting:

1. The contrast (and disagreement) between how a person perceives themselves vs. how others perceive them.

2. The reflex to ignore impending doom and focus on small pleasures instead.

Day Four: When we meet Lucianus, he is 47. Or, he is 350. It depends on how you look at it :P

Day Three: He’s not really a one-liners guy but he did say, when asked if he was a demon: “For you, I could be.”

Day Two: I don’t put much stock in MBTI typing but apparently Lucianus is an ESTP-A. Out of curiosity I also did one for Auran, the secondary character, and he’s an ISFJ-T.
