Listen...there is a SURPRISING amount of GOOD in Power/Rangers. I totally believe him when he says he could do a respectable PG-13 version.

I’ve gone quiet on content for a while, but didn’t want to post about why until it was official. My mother passed away earlier today. She was 79 and died from pneumonia and kidney failure. I’ll be back to my channels at some point but obviously, I don’t know when.

Twitter is becoming more of a hellscape every day. I don’t even use it anymore, just still have my accounts as an archive. Now I’m getting added to spam group conversations every day, more and more. May have to download archive files and delete.

There may be a slight delay in upcoming content. I had catastrophic car damage (not a wreck just something bad I can’t afford to fix) and figuring out the next steps took/is taking a lot of my brain. I’m buffered a week or two out but may still hit that and go dark shortly.

That being said, a "Team Tommy" set might be kinda cool all at once.

I love that we're getting Funko Pops that aren't MMPR (there may be a few, but I can't recall them)...but kind of hate at the same time that it's because TOMMY. RIP JDF of course, but I hope we get the entire Zeo and Turbo teams.

So, this is horrific on its own, but tucked inside is an amazing moment. "I'm Chris with the New York Times. We have video of you being detained, if you need it." THAT is the power of the media, the ideal. "Competing" news companies, WORKING TOGETHER because right now THE MESSAGE is what matters.

YES. I think there's a segment of society that is hungry to accept back the person we THOUGHT Musk was going to be, the free-thinking tech mogul Tony Stark eccentric. But the damage is DONE...there's no good guy in that fight.

The first “Mighty Morphin Minute” on YouTube canonizes the coin flip, but not the fact that Zordon cheated and that’s why Rita blasted him into the Time Warp.

I appreciate that. I really DO want to follow them, they’re great. Just right now, the tone is rubbing me the wrong way.

I truly and honestly wish them all the best, and I hope their success returns to higher than their former levels. Not even in a "so he can stop being sarcastic" way, just because I do admire them and wish them well.

The medium is seeing an across the board decline, and some creators like them are facing an end of YouTube being a viable career. And that really is sad, and I don't know how I'd take it if I was losing that kind of thing.
But just...there's a bitterness to the tone I can't handle anymore.

Now, I don't know if they'll ever see this, I don't want to push it in their face and don't pretend they should care that one person is disengaging. But if they do, I want to say that I certainly understand it. I've never had...hell, SUCCESS as a creator, let alone to the degree they have.

For a while now, the happy-go-lucky, feel-good vibe of the content and especially the social media posts...has been gone. Lately it seems like every post on either channel has a sarcastic tone about how there are so many wonderful videos to watch, since viewership is down.

But...the vibe has been sliding for a while now. There was the whole incident with LivingRangerKey, and while I tried to see their side, it really came across as bullying a smaller creator for calling them out.
And it's what they were called out for that caused me to unfollow.

Had to do something I didn't want to do tonight, but I'd seen enough. I unfollowed MMPRToys and DividedAsOne.
Bruno and Mia were some of my earliest inspirations in creating content for Power Rangers. I spoke to Bruno offhand once or twice, and I still admire them both (and also Jerry).
