Text message asking for banking information to process California State Tax refund sent from a +63 country code phone number.

Oh, you silly scammers. Why would the California franchise tax board send me a text from a number with a Philippines country code? Not to mention tax season was MONTHS ago. And the ftb doesn’t ask for your bank info. That goes through your accountant when you file. Silly geese. 😂

2) The voice was quite obviously AI. It didn’t sound robotic, so not one of those automated voices you get when you try to talk to customer service anywhere. It was just … off. You know? Human, but not. So be aware.

Just got a phone call from “consumer services” wanting to talk to me about my over $7,000 in credit debt. 1) That is fake news. I definitely do not have that much credit card debt. Not even close. 1/2

We’re watching Dark Harvest. About 30 minutes in, and we’re having more fun laughing at it than anything. It’s pretty lame.

12:55. 1:25. That’s when some blasted idjit near me has set off these massive fireworks. I’m talking raise the dead loud. And in quick succession. At least 6 or 7 booms in a row. They sound like something you hear in an intense scene in a war movie. Both times happened just as I’d fallen asleep.
