We completed Whole Cake in like 3 nights. Whole Cake Island is now my 3rd favorite arc. Sanji gets so much fucking good character development. His backstory was great and heart wrenching. Big Mom not the best villain but Katakuri was great and his fight was amazing.

Need to update this! Zou was a nice short setup arc to Wano and Whole Cake. Introduces Carrot and Pedro. Two really great characters! It was enjoyable.

Dressrosa...Finished...117 episodes in 5 nights. God this arc was great. In top 5 atm prolly top 3. Doflamingo down, Gear 4 obtained, A FLEET. The Navy not being complete dickwads due to Fujitora being a bro. Great arc. A bit long but doesn't feel like it overstayed its welcome.

Finished Punk Hazard last week. Yeah that was so much better than Fishman Island. Love seeing Smoker and Tashigi again. Law coming into play was great, Caesar not exactly the best villain but seeing as this was just the bridge into Dressrosa I'll allow it. Smokigi was peak tho.

Fishman Island...wooo what a big stinker. Prolly the worst arc. Badly paced, villain was uninteresting. Last few episodes of the arc was good tho, seems like it's gonna set up a lot of stuff going forward! Punk Hazard is next week!

I forgot to mention this. JIMBEI AND HANCOCK WERE THE MOST USEFUL CHARACTERS TO LUFFY THIS ARC. Jimbei is so good and Hancock is now prolly in my top 5 characters for One Piece atm.

And finally, Marineford. HOLY CHRIST...this was a lot. I can't even begin to explain how I feel. Yes it was long but man was it full of high highs, and not very many lows. I'll refrain from specifics but the end is....man....man. Obv best pre-skip arc, easily clearing Water 7.

Empel Down arc was...a great start to the upcoming storyline. LIke Thriller Bark I do feel like it dragged a little bit, didn't need as much misadventures of Buggy and Mr. 3, it was still great. Also Bon Clay is the GOAT

3. The most badass moment i think you could ever give a character. Zoro taking all of Luffy's pain from the final battle. I said it during Water 7 but Zoro cementing on why he's the greatest first mate. Him being a hard anchor for Luffy solidifies him as the best straw hat!

2. Perona, I love her laugh, I love her style, she's very hilarious, not super serious, and she's a tsundere which is great!

1. Brook, Great addition to the team, absolutely hilarious. Voiced by Ian Sinclair which is a huge plus. His jokes while obvious and many, are endearing. Love the guy

Watched so much One Piece in the past 2 weeks, can't keep up with updating sometimes. Finished Thriller Bark last week. Hard to follow up Water 7, was a good arc but maybe dragged on a bit too much. But this arc gave us 3 amazing things!

The Garp reveal at the end was WAAAAAY better here than in the Live Action. Idk what they were thinking doing that so quickly. CP9 and Spandam were really good hateable Villains. Overall Water 7 has been the best experience so far! We move onto Thriller Bark this week!

Always forget to update! Water 7 finished! Yeah this arc was the best. The pacing was great. The acting!! Obviously the Robin 'I want to live' scene was insane. The actress in english killed the read so well. Luffy going 2nd Gear and 3rd gear in succession was really cool! 1/2

We stopped on ep 240, last thing was Robin telling Sanji she's leaving. Really interested to see what's going on with her. One Piece in 16:9 1080p feels so much better to watch than 4:3 I feel like I'm in the future now! More Water 7 next week!

Started Water 7 this week. OKAY...so this arc started phenomenally. So much is starting to happen and I really like it. Usopp's Duel with Luffy was great and sad...I know Franky joins the crew so it'll be interesting to see how that happens. W7 gonna have to be multiple tweets

Moving into Skypiea. This arc was good. Like Eneru as a villain more than Crocodile. But the current separation from the overall story for the moment killed it a bit for me. I liked the arc but I suspect it'll take a good bit of the show for me to appreciate it.

I forgot to update this! So we finished Alabasta. Great first arc. I can see a lot of the machinations rev up from Oda. Vivi is my favorite character and it fucks me up that they tried teasing her joining when I already knew she wasn't. Great arc. Really loved it.

We will be finishing Alabasta proper this weekend, but so far its been a great first serious arc. If you count from start of grand line to end of alabasta as 1 arc then i would say it drags a little. But ill know when i finish on Sunday.

Drum Island was maybe a little longer than I would have liked BUT Luffy climbing the mountain to the castle hand over hand for Nami and Sanji was kind of peak fiction. So i let it slide. Chopper is also a great addition.

Entrance into the Grand Line and the start of Alabasta was great. Though as soon as we got in there i immediately looked up a map of One Piece cause i wanted to see how its set up. I liked Whiskey Peak, Tiny Garden was hilarious. Drum Island next tweet.

Lougetown i really liked. Sets up people seeing something within Luffy, Smoker is a great character. Showing Usopp he has potential despite being Usopp. And most stuff with Zoro just ends up being hilarious.

Im gonna throw the beginning up to the end of Arlong Park in 1 tweet. Seen most of what goes on in the live action. L.A did a good job. Ill say this though the anime version of recruiting Usopp was way too fucking long. Arlong Park was long as well but more interesting.

I meant to make this thread when i started. I started #ONEPIECE. I will update this as i finish arcs or get close and feel like i can make my opinion. A friend and myself are watching at least 15 episodes a week. Maybe more if arcs are super interesting. Also watching dubbed.
