Damian Lillard said he had been renting Jrue Holiday’s house in Milwaukee the past two years, so they talked often.
“I was complaining to him about the WiFi. There’s a clip online where I shake his hand, we played them in Boston and we had an interaction. We were literally talking about his WiFi.”
Damian Lillard said Jrue Holiday reached out to him after getting traded to Portland to ask about the area and the organization.
“I told him I love Portland. I live in Portland, my family’s in Portland. … Once you get here, and you get on the ground, you learn to like it, or love it, in my case.”
Blake Wesley is exactly the type of shot the Blazers should be taking. Possible he just isn't good enough offensively, but he has some real athletic pop.

Damian Lillard's words Monday didn't sound like somebody content to only be a glorified mentor or marginal bench piece, resting on laurels until retirement. Lillard's return to Portland is another mission, not a resignation.
