I haven’t seen the film yet, but if the film corrects an error that has gone on for over fifty years and that correction disrupts the community so much as to tear it apart, then was it really that strong of a community to begin with?

That’s not even considering the effect public school districts can have on housing prices. I remember every photographer I knew in DC that had kids was usually consumed with getting them into the “right” schools. Several moved out of the city. Some left the region entirely.
