‘Tracing Borders 2’ was created for the Borders project, and was previously exhibited in the FiftySquared Art Prize at Brunswick Street Gallery in June/July 2024.

My arts practice explores the notion of ‘womens’ work’, the inclusion of handmade items, such as crocheted and paper doilies, as well as leaf matter and a birds nest, reference shifting borders, places of origin, departure, arrival and settlement.

Tracing Borders 2’ was created using the cyanotype process. A selection of found items from nature were collected along with some personal objects to create a multilayered work on paper.
