On the second anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack in Israel, our thoughts are with the families of those murdered and those hostages still in captivity, who must be released immediately.
As the recent deadly terrorist attack in Manchester showed, there's much to do in tackling antisemitism on our own shores.
Our Jewish communities should not have to live in fear in the UK. We can all play our part in standing up to hate.
UNISON, now and always, will challenge antisemitism and campaign against hate and extremism.

UNISON - the public service union
UNISON is one of the UKβs largest trade unions, with 1.3 million members. We represent staff who provide public services in the public and private sector.
The first set of negotiations on further education pay in England have disappointingly not resulted in a recommendation as the AoC want more time to consider individual college budgets. The joint trade unions have issued a statement that can be found on our webpage: www.unison.org.uk/about-2/coll...

AoC delays pay recommendation until September
Colleges need summer to work new Β£160m funding into budgets, David Hughes says
Yesterday, the Association of Colleges delayed making a pay recommendation to its college members. This is extremely disappointing, especially when extra funds put into FE over the past two years has not been reflected in staff pay packets. That must change. #it'stimeforfairpay

Join us in the call for fully funded national bargaining in further education colleges in England | UNISON National
Your pledge is confidential to UNISON and will not be shared with your employer or any other organisation. UNISON is committed to calling for a joint
Staff in FE are badly paid, with pay having fallen by 40%+ in real terms since 2010. In England, staff in FE colleges lack the advantages of national bargaining: a disparity between schools and colleges on pay negotiations. UNISON is calling on members to join the campaign & sign the pledge.
