Writing Tip: Don't be afraid to "kill your darlings." If a line, scene, or character you love isn't serving the plot or pace, cut it. Save it in a "spare parts" document. The story always comes first.

I can’t fathom how McDonald’s has become a successful delivery meal.

I have very snobby, arrogant opinions about paying retail+delivery for lukewarm McDonald’s, which is only “decent” when fresh and warm.

A long, flowing sentence sets a scene.
A short one creates punch.

#booksky, like many folks who love to read more these days, just can't find the time.
