SNAP Back! This past weekend we joined a broad coalition of Rhode Island student and community organizations in a display of solidarity against Trump’s disastrous cuts to the SNAP benefits program. Together we served over 200 community members with food, hygiene products, and other essentials.

Yesterday. hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers took to the streets as part of the nationwide No Kings protests! Far-right politicians and the millionaires and billionaires who back them think they run this country, but the reality is that the people do!

For two years, with the full backing of the U.S., Israel has waged a brutal genocidal campaign of bombs, missiles and man-made famine against the Palestinian people. Why? Because they dared to stand up against the racist apartheid system that has subjugated and terrorized Palestinians for decades.

On Saturday, October 4th, New York City mobilized for a massive demonstration as part of an international day of action marking two years of U.S.-Israeli genocide in Gaza.

And after two years, it’s clearer than ever that the world stands with Palestine!

This Saturday, Seattle marched to the Space Needle in solidarity with the people of Gaza and the participants of the Global Sumud Flotilla alongside thousands across the globe demanding an end to the genocide!

PEOPLE ARE SICK OF CAPITALISM!

Recent polling shows that capitalism’s popularity has hit record lows. Why? The reasons probably won’t surprise you!

More than 400,000 Palestinians have been forced to flee their homes in response to Israel’s new bombing campaign and invasion of Gaza City.

Israel continues to slaughter Palestinians with the backing of the U.S. government. Our tax dollars should be used to fund peoples’ needs, not wage genocide!

But Trump doesn’t have anything to say about that, or any of the other injustices that are actually responsible for the hardships people face in cities large and small across the country.

The real crime is the suffering the people of Memphis experience under this system. Memphis is ranked #1 in America for child poverty — more than 36% of children are living below the poverty line.

Trump is threatening to send in National Guard troops to Memphis next, following weeks of federal occupation of Washington, D.C.

His racist intentions in the majority-Black city of Memphis are couched in claims to “stop crime.”

This morning, the Colorado community came together to say NO MORE CONCENTRATION CAMPS IN COLORADO! We joined the ACLU & Colorado Immigrant Protection Teams to visit one of the proposed sites for the Trump administration’s expansion of federal detention centers to house our immigrant neighbors.
