I think itβs poor, personally. But have a feeling Iβm in a minority #THFC

Too much time supporting a club is spent moaning - moaning about players, moaning about managers, moaning about transfers. But great players doing great things enrich our lives, make our weekends. Son made weekends better for me. Itβs been a privilege & a pleasure to watch him
06.08.2025 21:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But yes, Son was more loyal - admirably so!
03.08.2025 08:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0He was arguably the best striker in the world who spent ten years playing for a team who didnβt win anything (and werenβt really showing much ambition to change that). In that time he made one pretty half-arsed attempt to leave, but didnβt even really rock the boat then
03.08.2025 08:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Both legends, in my eyes. But each to their own
03.08.2025 08:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My gut feeling is this will be a chase too far for England and that India will win by 150 runs before the rain comes late today. But I also have a nagging feeling that this series deserves the climax of England, needing 15 to win, sending Woakes out at No11 to bat one-handed
03.08.2025 08:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not keen on Spurs fans using Son to have a dig at Kane. Fine to have a favourite, and Son is a warmer, more engaging character (plus brilliant footballer). But did Kane really lack loyalty? Take the blinkers off and Iβd say he was arguably too loyal for too long
02.08.2025 22:11 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 2 π 2Where do you want your statue?
02.08.2025 06:43 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Into the Groove has to be in there for me, Clive. Agree with the top two!
01.08.2025 18:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I love music but wouldnβt count myself as a βmusoβ. Only really had one band on my bucket list and got to see them last night. It was as epic as Iβd hoped it would be
26.07.2025 20:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Remind me when Iβm wanging on about football in October that Test cricket is the greatest sport of all sport
14.07.2025 17:15 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I like Kudus but it would smack a bit of Spurs just doing the easiest (and probably cheapest) deal. Eze, Mbeumo and, to a degree, Semenyo are all pretty sure things - Premier League proven and first XI ready. Yet weβll take a punt instead to save a few quid
01.07.2025 21:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Think the fact England have knocked off 371 on a day-five pitch against an Indian attack featuring one of the all-time great bowlers and thereβs no great hoo-ha or surprise tells you all you need to know about this England team. Theyβre not perfect but theyβre very, very good
24.06.2025 18:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I could do a thread summing up where I stand on the Spurs manager debate but Gareth has done it perfectly here. This is exactly where Iβm at
01.06.2025 21:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Lads. Itβs Tottenham x
21.05.2025 21:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thereβs so much football now that I struggle to crystallise whatβs happened in the past month, let alone past year, but that game up there with the 2022 WC final and 2x 2019 CL semis as one of the best of the modern era?
06.05.2025 21:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Wouldβve taken that at the start. But next week is going to be horrible. Need to hope Maddison and Solanke are fit
01.05.2025 21:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Genuinely one of the worst paragraphs Iβve ever read
26.04.2025 07:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Genuinely one of the worst paragraphs Iβve ever read
26.04.2025 07:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We fell into their trap, and lost the game because of it, but Iβm not buying the idea last night was some sort of Nuno/Forest masterclass. They gave up 5-6 clear chances and were hanging on at the end. Our poor finishing let them off the hook. That said, we were so naive first 20
22.04.2025 08:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hints of Gazza about Morgan Rogers - the direct running, change of pace and blend of skill and strength. There are lots of very good No10 type players in England at the moment but think his skill-set is unique among them
19.04.2025 17:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Rashford proving how much the right environment and management doesnβt just transform teams, but individual players too
15.04.2025 20:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thereβs a miracle road to Bilbao on which this all turns around but, no matter what happens - and as much as I was one of the more patient fans who wanted to see this play out - itβs absolutely wild that Ange is still in the job
14.04.2025 13:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Get new manager
New manager makes brilliant start
At last, weβve moved on from Poch
Things take a turn
Fans flirt with Poch
Poch flirts back
Ryan Mason.
Rinse. And repeat.
Also, the chip-on-the-shoulder interviews and press conferences are starting to irritate me - heβs had a fair crack from the media and a relatively easy ride from the fans (we were 4th and calling for Conte to go)
17.03.2025 07:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I like Ange, and I like the idea of Ange. And Iβm still not sure thereβs much point in making a change until the summer. But Tottenham losing 15 out of 29 Premier League games is an utter embarrassment that, Iβm afraid, is his responsibility
17.03.2025 07:54 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The same people complaining about that Spurs starting XI would be the first to complain if Van de Ven or Maddison ended up getting injured in what is - as frustrating as it may be to have reached this point - essentially a meaningless game
16.03.2025 12:50 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And yes, those are multiple Joelintons on his shirt
15.03.2025 23:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Two white, middle-aged Newcastle fans on my train dressed as sheikhs. The real magic of the Carabao Cup
15.03.2025 23:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 1Glad we had that eight daysβ rest. Imagine how flat, insipid and listless weβd look otherwise #THFC
