Journey started out as a progressive rock band before they became a staple on mainstream commercial soft rock radio.

I wish they would have stayed on this path, but money talks and record companies don't care about quality, just hits.

I remember when musical artists had actual talent, played instruments and wrote songs that consisted of more than a programmed beat and had lyrics that told a story.

Music has truly lost its soul.

Now all you have to do is be marketable and people will buy it without giving it any serious thought!

I can believe it. I remember 40 years ago getting Van Halen tickets for about 12 dollars without all of their crooked service fees. They have evolved into being the only one to sell tickets and need some serious competition. Breaking them up is the only way to regulate them.

Over the years some Democrats have tried to break them up, but they always manage to keep on continuing their dirty business practices without any consequences.
They actually banned my credit card 20 years ago when I disputed them refunding my ticket price, but not all of their service fees.

I don't blame you. I would not want to deal with a mosh pit.

 In one of his best-known songs “excitable boy” , he sings gleefully about a boy who rapes and kills a woman and then takes her home.

Maybe he was actually a Werewolf of London!

Yes I went from the lawn seats to 5th row for about $20.00.

It was a great show too. Those were the days when you could upgrade and not go into major debt.
