Another development update, 4-2 and 4-3 are both complete, and 4-4's stage design in now in progress. Once that's done, I'll likely begin designing the backgrounds for the world 4 stages.

I'm kinda going all out for 4-4 with the movement options. We got grind rails, potions that give you a big swirling boost, and banners you can wall jump off of! And wow is it fun to string a bunch of these together!

Here's another moveset overhaul I've been working on for 4-2. This vacuum you'll be equipped with will let you suck up enemies and fire them out as damaging projectiles, it'll also alter your physics depending on the direction held!

Here's the remaining bits of 4-1, featuring the shrunken transformation! When shrunken, you're unable to attack, but you'll be able slip into all sorts of nooks and crannies. You can also hitch a ride on the flies to get around!

And finally, for now, the Twilight Treetops has been updated. Mainly in the form of a new friendly Propeller Acorn you can use to float through the stage! You can also perform a flutter kick attack when letting go while airborne!

The Webbed Willow is up next for some updates. The overall amount of webbing has been cut back, so things aren't as sticky now. There are also new slingshots scattered throughout the stage to fling yourself around with!

Been cleaning up earlier stages recently. This includes updating background designs, improving stage layouts, and adding in a few more baddies. I've also added a new attack that lets you bounce on enemies when your burst is charged!

Having to break checkpoints can lead to frustration if a player then dies and is sent back to the start of a level, and it always had the same repeating NPC interaction. Having to find the door is more engaging, and each level will now have it's own unique NPC/conversation for some extra fun flair.

I'm in the process of reworking the third candy objective. Instead of having to break checkpoints for candy, you'll now be able to find a flying door hidden in each level. Once found, you can claim your candy at the end of the level!
