Finally finished this and moving on to Christmas stitching.

This one is a variation on one of mine, which is that Mythal had accepted that *she* would be the one to bind the Veil, and her last gift to Morrigan (and Kieran) was figuring out how to do it without them, except Solas murdered her, so she had to try something else.

Talking the first Warden around is *supremely* satisfying (even though I know punching him is too), because the payoff is the gift that just keeps giving.

It kind of reminds me of when you (the audience) realize that Gandalf is speaking to Théoden the way Gríma did, and you hope he realizes too...only your Rook already has.

The things you say to the First Warden are so smart. Like, you finally speak his language. You're definitely not telling him what he wants to hear, but you're finally saying it right.

Also, at the end of Veilguard, Lavellan is all "I love you, but you don't deserve to be the one my people revere for how we recover from this", and sends Solas into the Fade by himself.

Hawke is more than a little relieved when Leandra dies, because the pressure is *finally* off.

THE DREAM

This kind of mandarin is more reliably seedless, apparently. And bigger. But very good. I assume Farm Boy is where mum got them.

The whole botanical collection uses neat pieces, but nothing will ever top the fudgsicle hotdog chairs in the Council of Elrond.

It's really cute! It uses throwing stars from ninjago for some of the smaller "flowers", which I thought was neat.

I went to build a lego poinsettia and returned to this.

Yeah, it's a little choppy in the first episode, but it evens out. There are a few other things, but I do like that it's accessible.

I want to do a thing at my local library where I answer people's questions and also teach them how to ask questions (and how to find sources), and this is partially why.

(Do I ever get up and use the discs? No. But I *have* them. For someday.)
