While many compete to gain the attention of groups like ours, Pagans For Political Progress believes that the platform of the Green Party currently best represents our political interests as Pagans. While significantly liberal in much of its rhetoric, the Green Party is unmatched in its support for the environment and for first nations Landback & Reparations for Slavery & Jim Crow, policies which stand to materially improve conditions for indigenous Pagans and Pagan descendants of slaves, who are the most heavily targeted with anti-Pagan violence.
The Green Party's commitment to values which we share as Pagans is evident in the material policies that they platform, as well as the vast network of grassroots community work that they both directly operate and collaboratively work with and draw from. Pagans For Political Progress recognizes these material gains as more valuable than grand rhetorical posturing from other organizations which talk down to and tokenize First Nations and New Afrikans from a false position of colonial superiority.
Pagans For Political Progress hopes to work together with fellow supporters of the Green Party platform and fight to achieve a brighter future where Pagans can thrive together with all of humanity. So mote it be

For the full realization of Pagan political aims, we must seek to build a society where people contribute as much as they are able, in order for everyone to receive as much as they need, so that we may all live free from the brutal tyranny and inequalities inherent to the capitalist state and its ideology of christo-fascist imperialism.
As Pagans, we must reject the pessimistic rhetoric of anti-Pagan adversaries which assail us at every turn, entreating us to give up, to accept egregious suffering and exploitation as "inevitable," "righteous," or "natural." We must hold on to our belief in a bright, ever-progressing future in which the Earth and humanity can be healed.
To that end, in full knowledge of our marginalized and minority status, Pagans must seek out political alliances with broader coalition groups whose material policies genuinely represent our interests. Parties & organizations promoting the kind of left wing politics that serve our interests must do more than lip service, rallies, and sloganeering to gain our support.

Paganism covers a wide range of religious practices and beliefs, but across all of them, a single thread ties us together. A love and worship of the Earth which is our home, and the material forces, resources, and conditions of nature which govern our existence and coexistence here on this planet.
While other types of religion encourage their followers to rejoice in scarcity & pain, to maximize their suffering in this life in the hopes of a transcendant afterlife, Paganism takes the opposite approach. Pagans value improvement of the human condition in this world as a primary form of religious veneration in and of itself.
What this means for Pagan politics is that we uphold material progress and improvement for all of humanity as a part of our basic religious obligations. Pagan religion is completely incompatible with the politics of both the extreme right wing and the backwards doctrines of liberal capitalism, whose sinister origins can be traced back to the colonialist ethnic cleansing of Pagans on a global scale
