It turns out that in addition to SI joint arthritis, I have developed sciatica in both legs. My physical therapist gave me an exercise called a … nerve floss, which made me gag and giggle when she said it.
In other words, “can him cause his work blows” and “can him because he’s acting in bad faith for political purposes” are two very different things. I don’t really care about the former.
That just goes to the merits. See the OP law professor (Bernick) I quoted who has published extensively about the poor merits of Wurman’s work.
I’m just saying my Alma mater should not employ someone whose scholarship is in bad faith. Your work can be wrong on the merits but made in good faith.
Lawyers often argue “this other document sheds light on what the words of the constitution meant at the time.” In other words he disagrees that the 14th A. actually codified birthright citizenship. Common form of legal argument. His problem is just that he’s making the argument in bad faith.
