In 2023, NY contributed $89 billion more to the federal government than we received. Undocumented immigrants in NYC contributed $3 billion. So in theory we could just stop giving Republicans federal subsidies and pay for that marginal $18 billion in infrastructure directly and have a big surplus.

Trump disappears for days and then is all hyped up on some type of drugs for his speech today. What is he taking? Why does his handlers need to give him these drugs? What is Trump's underlying medical condition?!!

Pritzker has been great. But these reports that IL state police are assisting ICE, harassing and beating people who record ICE, and helping arresting protesters all seem to be supported by some video. If state cops are helping feds suppress rights over governor’s objections, that’s a big problem.
