In other words, Trump has given Congress the opportunity to subpoena a thousand eyewitnesses to a crime.

That doesn't sound very smart to me.

I have zero doubt that if Trump could get away with ordering the assassination of his Democratic opponents, he would. Instead, he's trying to get his followers to do it for him. Sick.

Threats against lawmakers are not speech; they are coercion designed to freeze the functioning of government. If Congress can’t advise the military without fear of execution, then checks and balances are dead. The House and Senate must formally censure this attack. Call your representative now.
