Closed out the weekend with the Liberal Sisters Supper Club's inaugural Oviedo dinner! This weekend was filled with action from sunrise to sunset, and this was the perfect way to wrap it up.

These dinners are about building community and finding joy together.

We were honored to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the iconic Ball & Chain restaurant in Little Havana, a business whose success proves we can defeat corrupt politicians like Joe Carollo, who use their power to silence those who oppose them.

Today, I am sharing the story of the most incredible survivor I've ever known: my mom. She was a hero who taught me everything about resilience, strength and the possibility of a life beyond abuse. Her memory is a reminder that there is ALWAYS hope.
