Where the comic was nuanced, purposeful and structured, season 2 feels rushed.

In every aspect.

The beats are all there, but they’ve been shoved together so it’s not so much an unfolding arch as a frying pan over the head.

A deep disappointment (at least for me).

I was always a huge fan of The Sandman comic book and I genuinely loved the first season. Despite everything going on with the creator of the series I jumped in to watch season 2…

I know getting a TV show placed into the world takes so so so much work, effort and energy…

So tonight, for cheat night, we had @wienerschnitzel. It’s one of the things you don’t realize when you move from state to state, you can’t always get the things you love anymore.

To ensure it tasted as close to as possible, I wrapped each of the hotdogs in wax-paper prior —

She hand carried it through TSA and brought it (and some meatballs home) for me.

SO GOOD!

While she was there she also stopped by wienerschnitzel
and picked up a few cans of chili sauce.

So, I grew up in San Diego. My wife flew to visit her Dad for Easter to Orange County.

She stopped by San Diego to pick up a certified copy of our wedding cert. while she was there, she went to Felippi’s Pizza and flew it home. This was my absolute favorite pizza!
