Beauty is much more than skin deep- it can cause cancer. Common beauty products contain deadly formaldehydes. Beware. #environmentalsexism @janevandis.bsky.social

Squash pies? I never. But maybe I should. I can make lemon dacquoise, but I have always shied away from pastries. Idk 🤷🏼‍♀️ why. Perhaps because my Mom makes “parfait” patisserie.

The solution to many questions lay in increasing biodiversity, not in the homogeneous diminishment of it. Provocative article on crop adaptation to climate change:

Two polar stereographic maps showing Arctic sea ice thickness and its anomalies in April 2025. Most of the region observed below average sea ice thickness with anomalies ranging from -2 meters to 2 meters. Red shading is shown for thinner than average ice, and blue shading is shown for thicker than average ice.

Sea ice continued to be around 0.5-1 meter thinner than the 1981-2010 average during April 2025. There's some notable anomalies in the Kara Sea basin, which will be helpful to monitor as the #Arctic melt season really begins to accelerate later this month.
