My first review of 2026 is for @luckshotgames.com 's Big Hops, a fantastic 3D platformer that embraces creativity, rewards experimentation, and feels incredible to play.

This is as good as any Mario game and needs to be checked out by fans of colorful platformers ASAP

Big Hops is the best 3D platformer I've played in a long time because it gets that platforming is half the fun. While there are moments of intricate jumping and diving, it's the sheer number of absurd and charming interactions with the world that make it soar.
