Another reason to loath AI.

I've always hated instagram for UX reasons, but seeing a professional artist/environmentalist made a cutesy "teehee try this CGPT prompt to make a caricature of yourself" made me want to burn the platform to the ground.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.
