As we continue to flatten management its awful to see people who are still in management do it so wrong

I have been working with AI for 3 years and I have enjoyed it and felt empowered by it but, I need to acknowledge where the fear comes from. We live in a time of limited hope. And it’s hard to hope when political and industry leaders seem to lack it.

Think about all the things we don’t see. All murders, kidnappings, home invasions not recorded.

"If they wanted to, they would have by now" - I was told this by a career mentor and I shared this with someone else today. It isn't easy to hear but it is also freeing. Real sponsorship acts now; false sponsorship asks you to wait.

I have 4 sisters and a brother, so I was lucky enough to be born with a built-in ride or die crew. As a middle child, they were my first and truest friends. Nothing in life could have prepared me for how much my heart would miss them as we've grown up and built our own beautiful, separate lives.

3. Being flexible on the vision and unwavering on the implementation. Tech implementation is fundamental! Saying that's the only way we drive creativity is flawed. Someone said I was all vision no implementation, but this all led to simplification of C# / .NET, so.... Well, actually better

1. Lacking product definition. Being able to clearly define what your product is fundamental for scope and vision

I like Jimmy Kimmel. I really do. I have no issues with him.

I'm talking about something very different.

Kimmel was only suspended. But he's back now. Karen Attiah and all the other Black journalists are still fired.

Y'all do know how to fight, when you want to.

But you don't really want to. πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ

iOS 26 - 2010s UI is back with a glass filter. If I got your attention remember people in Gaza, Sudan and DRC are under catastrophic humanitarian man made crisis. Don’t look away. Also free speech is under attack for real. And no it wouldn’t have been the same under Kamala & Tim

Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

Washington Post Columnist Says She Was Fired for Posts After Charlie Kirk Shooting

This is precisely the kind of government coercion that the First Amendment was designed to prevent β€” and media companies need to start standing up rather than capitulating to it.

Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

A Fox presenter called for the πŸͺ¦ of homeless people & nothing happened. Certain outlets often make awful remarks about children and marginalized people who are victims of violence, but nothing happens. Jimmy K points out the hypocrisy of this reaction, and now free speech is no longer protected.

I needed a reason to cancel a streaming service, and now that Disney, the parent company of ABC, has fired Jimmy Kimmel, I guess I can get rid of Disney+. #cancelDisney+

Providing a platform to black women isn't the same as offering sponsorship or opportunities. Yes, you may put us in front of leadership; we will be praised and receive moderate compensation. We will lead the charge, but never get the rewards. After a while, we will feel used.

Nesting vs branching emails: I'm stuck in a thread split email mess. Instead of a readable structure, replies are deeply nested. I need a visual tree that branches from the original email, clearly showing read/unread paths. Has anyone solved this? Do we have these views in the world πŸ‘‡
