I’ve just got one big one, that way I run into things I wouldn’t expect to mesh with the mood I had in mind, which can spark ideas. hmm for longer media I tend to just take notes of the bits I like so I can reference those later, rather than the whole thing.

I keep a folder where I bookmark any article, video, wikipedia page etc that has stuff that is interesting to me, then when I need an idea I read through it all and note down which ones feel like what I want to write about right then. Then I mix and match the notes until I have a concept

i am certain there is a non-zero population of comics people that wish they were drawing fantasy fiction rn and won't let themselves. i feel like i can sense it in a person sometimes. everyone needs to be drawing fantasy Now. pivot right now
