Season 5 of The Sopranos was uneven and the writing was meh. But season 6 was worse. Turf wars? Terrorism? Dental school drama? Jerry Torciani? Baccala bustin Tony’s ass? Proper goodbye to Melfi? NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE. They put a bow on a pile of shit.

I really respect La Masia and the Bayern youth programs. They have turned out talent for decades. But I’m hoping they misfire against my beloved Toon in this CL matchup.
There is a subplot in season 5 of the Sopranos that is great and always stayed great: Tony and Carmela. The core of the show has always been their relationship in my opinion. But in season 5, it’s the only solid writing going on at that point in the show.
