I am challenging Brett Guthrie to a public forum town hall regarding H.R. 1. If Congressman Guthrie believes this bill helps his constituents in the 2nd Congressional District, he should be willing to defend itβin front of the very people whose lives it will change.
Over the past week, I have been out and about speaking to voters, supporting candidates like Col. Pamela Stevenson for US Senate, and fighting against the Reverse Robin Hood Budget bill Guthrie had a hand in crafting.

Kentucky's opioid crisis is well-known. Medicaid is a huge resource for our communities for substance use treatment and support. Recent efforts have been effective in lowering overdose rates for the last couple of years.
