One of my biggest criticisms of Disneyland's Pinocchio ride is that the lighting is super dark and hard to see. But Les Voyages de Pinocchio at Disneyland Paris doesn't really suffer from the same issue. And thus I think it's a lot more enjoyable to ride!

Finland's PowerPark has a handful of really good roller coasters, but then tucked away in a random little corner is one of the coolest shooting dark rides I've ever done.
Devil's Mine Hotel has *limited ammo*, which requires strategy to maximize!!

So Seoul Land was a park that I ended up skipping on my original 2018 visit to South Korea but managed to fit in on my trip last year. And they have some funky offerings, like Columbia Double Loop Coaster (or Galaxy Train 888 if you translate the sign).

But also, I don't really get the hype over Stardust. It's fine, but I didn't really find it particularly memorable aside from the uniqueness of the celestial spin.

I still track mine, but IMHO my milestones are for *me*, so I get to make the rules, and if I need to count or not count some categories of stuff to help things line up the way I want, so be it.
More broadly-speaking, close is close enough, and nobody else is going to try to police your count.
That's rough man, I'm sorry.
May be worth considering if you want to temporarily stop counting some subset of coasters (water, mountain, powered, Disk'O, etc.) to give you another shot at #1000 more on your own terms?

When visiting Parc AstΓ©rix, you're naturally going to focus on Toutatis & OzIris &Tonnerre 2 Zeus &maybe even Goudurix just for the infamy, but definitely don't overlook PΓ©gase Express.
This may be a family coaster, but it's long & fun & has some tricks!

As I'm sure most of y'all know by now, I'm a huge fan of Helsinki's LinnanmaΜki. And in the middle of the park is this huge brick cylinder that apparently used to be an old water tower. And inside of that cylinder is Linnunrata eXtra, a custom Zierer coaster:

We've had a few videos now from South Korea's Gyeongju World, which is definitely the country's best coaster park. And one of their very fun coasters is this excellent B&M invert called Phaethon. And this time we're checking it out in the back-right seat!

Iowa's Lost Island is a very interesting park. They went all-out with a number of elements and really tried to nail a lot of theming. And then they just...didn't bother with any shade at all, which is readily apparent when you're riding Wakani Whirl.

SΓ€rkΓ€nniemi is the most easily-overlooked of Finland's three major theme parks, but it's still a good time. And it has a really lovely setting there next to the lake.
And even though Hype is just a Premier SkyRocket II, it's still a fun little ride!

I'm not saying it's not possible, but I kind of feel like you're already going to be losing so much time from Genie inefficiencies that adding all the non-ride detours will torpedo all of your remaining time margin.
Also wonder how you'd have to manage it to deal with early closers.
Will you allow it to send you on detours to shows and meals and the Bakery Tour at rope drop? Or just rides only, in whatever order it deems you worthy of?

Folks who have been following for a while will know how random the coaster offerings are at Energylandia. They have some really big & cool & exciting stuff, and then they have Frutti Loop Coaster.
It may just be a wacky worm, but at least it's themed?

Hong Kong Disneyland has some pretty cool and unique rides, one of which is the Jungle River Cruise. It takes the bones of the standard Jungle Cruise and then amps the scale up a bit, especially with its really cool show scene finale!

So last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit Andorra to ride Tobotronc at Naturland.
This thing is OVER 17,000 ft. long!!!
It takes 13 mins *just* to get to the top (omitted from the vid), and then you have almost 12,000 ft. downhill!
It's *nuts*.

While the original version has a ton of fans, I'm not sure if there's anyone who actually has Journey Into Imagination With Figment on their list of favorite rides at EPCOT.
Yet it has persisted in this version now for over 50% longer than the original!

I say this as someone who experienced the real AA faces in Hong Kong a few months ago:
The new Elsa in the 'Let it Go' scene isn't capable of emoting to the degree required by the song/moment.
The other faces were improvements though.

There are few theme parks in the world in as beautiful of a location as Ocean Park Hong Kong. And the Ocean Park Tower gives you incredible views of the park and the mountains and the ocean and everything else all around. And it looks so cool!

So I've now ridden all but 4 of the operating B&M Dive Coasters, and I've got to say, this is one of the prettiest.
Gyeongju World did a fantastic job with Draken and its theming, and it's a really fun ride too (even if it is a clone of BGW's Griffon)!

Most enthusiasts only go to Legendia for Lech Coaster, and while it's certainly the headliner, definitely don't miss their really cool shooting dark ride called Bazyliszek. It's tucked back behind a QS restaurant in a random building, so it's easy to overlook. But don't!
