OMG, David. How had I missed this article? Thanks. I use the Annenberg mini-doc in class and then we do a compare/contrast between then and now, but this article will definitely come into play next term.

This is just one of 5+ lawsuits that have been filed as a result of this unlawful government overreach.

We're talking about the Privacy Protection Act of 1980 in class this week. It's good to see some of these lawsuits (5 in federal court and one state court, by my count) starting to settle.

These courageous journalists and their community deserve some closure.

U.S. news organizations should be doing this in their domestic reporting as well when our government obstructs their journalism and restricts access.
