Also Old Skies is just a seriously good game, like really good. If you like smart point&clicks and don't get this one, I cannot help you. It had me choke up at several points, and also laugh out loud; it is well written and the acting by Sally and Ed is superb (and they both are just treasures too).

guys i've been meaning to cancel my gym membership for weeks, i see today that it's gonna charge me an annual fee tomorrow, i fcked up. sent an email to cancel but when i called them they said the email will get looked at tomorrow

like i'm remembering how disappointing Persona 5 The Phantom X was, waited years for that game and the global version gave less rewards while bombarding players with ads to buy top up packs. blegh

umamusume might be a standard JP gacha with standard JP gacha issues but it's nice that we're able to get QOL updates sooner & free pulls at arguably more optimal times because the devs aren't worried about their original region's community throwing a tantrum over it 👍

I’ve been really into it recently, the half anniversary is hype and there’s a new scenario coming soon. Dunno about long term, I feel like I might drop it if I need to free up time because events/dailies are kinda time consuming. But RN the only other gacha I’m playing is Genshin

In seriousness a Knights of Favonious buff that buffs Eula & Mika would be really cool.

Genshin should keep buffing factions after Hexenzirkel because they could make International (Bennett/Xiangling/Xingqiu/Chongyun) a faction and that’d be really funny.

I didn’t see any grind in Ananta, which showcase shows that? I just remember a lot of different game modes but the only real gameplay shown is web slinging. Story seemed lacking too but we haven’t seen a lot yet so 🤷‍♀️

I'm interested in Ananta but worried it'll be too good to be true. Silver Palace looks cool but IDK if I'll even try it at this point

Probably. It's better than Etheria: Restart but I feel like I have less patience for gacha now as I did when that came out. Interested to see how/if the game evolves but I'm underwhelmed at this stage.

I didn't get to the point of seeing what the chara/wep grind is really like and the few characters I played as felt samey to me. I found Snow irritating and worry she's like the game's Paimon/mascot character, possibly she or her race (who all look like her) might be. Loporrits but (more) annoying.

Monthly pass gives you freemium currency you can't use for limited pulls. It doesn't feel low spender friendly, you either whale or don't waste your money. I can't really see gacha haters getting into this game, though? Cuz it's still gacha.

Limited cosmetic banner is similar to Milastria Wonderland - you can only pull with paid currency. A small amount is given with launch event & paid battle pass but pity doesn't carry over. Purely cosmetic so a lot of players won't mind. I don't love it.

A big draw to this game is that characters and weapons are farmable which is great, but there are still tons of annoying gacha tropes. Lore dumps, excessive currencies, hand-holdy/intrusive tutorials. Honestly got frustrated with it and had to stop playing.

It has SUCH a strong start but so quickly falls into average gacha storytelling. Our character, our childhood friend & the mysterious misty character should have stayed the focus because that's captivating! Instead the story basically tells us we can't pursue those leads, we're stuck in town.
