On the plane about to head back home after a whirlwind weekend of #adventureX. Still riding high on the feels and the post-conf melancholy hasn’t hit yet. The fun and heartwarming time I had is beyond description. The whole event has leveled up in every conceivable way.

I can imagine it may feel that way, but I can’t imagine *anyone* more suited to be the real-life avatar for this character. It’s been an absolute pleasure and joy talking to you and getting to know you. Hopefully we can work together one day!

It’s one of the few times and places where almost everyone present knows who I am, so it was very surreal knowing everyone was in on the joke. I’m gonna be coasting on this happy memory for a long long time.

Back in the hotel after having a long cafe breakfast with the last few #adventurex stragglers. First idle moment since I got here. I am exhausted, fulfilled and happy. Where did the time go? Every year I wait eagerly for this weekend and then it’s over in a flash. There’s nothing else like it.

I totally missed this announcement three days ago. But I am glad I saw it this morning! Love the art, and I am intrigued by the concept.

Today I got called on during a production of @robbotron.bsky.social’s The Dark Room at #AdventureX. He recognized me and proceeded to roast me mercilessly. It was glorious. At the end he rewarded me with a copy of All Star Cheerleader for the Wii. Thank you, John! It was frigging unforgettable.

I may have suggested to @pixieofillusion.bsky.social to change her clothes every few hours. She didn’t take the suggestion.
