& obviously working there as a year-round cinema volunteer was literally a life-changing experience. 🥺

Well, we all knew that SIFF was never going to reopen the Egyptian, and obviously my relationship with the organization has changed a lot but I'm still really sad about this!

Wheelchair basketball blew my mind when I learned it's played on a standard court. Imagine the power it takes to drain 3s sitting down.

I was very much Team Netherlands during the Paralympics but we'll see if anyone else decides to woo me.

Doing some math on the IWBF European championships schedule, & grateful that no one I know is interested in wheelchair basketball, so I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to watch live.

A natural born star! (This movie has a great final sequence too, but you have to convince Amazon to let you watch the credits.)

Anyway then I had a small rant about how great government employees are on the whole, and also about the different branches of government (not all City employees report up to the Executive) but honestly I gotta go finish this Vincent Price movie instead.

So this gotcha has been bugging me, because as Council President Harrell was the head of the Legislative Department. (That said, unionized legislative staff are represented by PROTEC17, which endorsed Wilson, so there you go.)

If I had a nickel for every time a particular former City Council President thought I play hockey, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.

This is such a dismissive way to talk about City staff. A lot of work can be done in Teams chats; that's why those records are looked at!

I'm old enough to remember when Harrell thought abusing children 30 years ago wasn't disqualifying, so it's interesting that now, dropping out of college 20 years ago is.

I need them to open more sections because I do not make club seat money - especially since I'm already a Reign STM - but when they do I'm ready!
