Yesterday, 13 incredible folks spent an hour packaging dog treats and writing post-it notes for our door hangers.
Campaigns like mine arenβt won by billionaire donors, theyβre won by everyday people doing the hard work behind the scenes. Thank you π

If Democrats want to make real inroads beyond our cities, we have to show up. Even when itβs uncomfortable.

While knocking doors today, someone told me, βThere is evil in your party,β and asked me never to come back.
I get itβpeople are frustrated. But Iβm out here talking with Republicans, Democrats, and Independents because I believe thereβs more that unites us than divides us. I represent all of us.

Back in Frankfort for the third time this week doing the job Kentuckians elected me to do. Meanwhile, Congress skipped town early for August recess just to avoid a vote on investigating the Epstein files.

AI data centers are using more power. Regular customers are footing the bill. β’ Kentucky Lantern
Regular energy consumers, not corporations, will bear increased costs of an AI boom fueling growth in data centers and power demand.
Kentucky families shouldnβt be stuck paying higher power bills so tech giants can run their data centers.
Utah and Ohio already have guardrails: big users pay their share so regular folks arenβt left holding the bag.
We can do the same here. Iβm ready to lead the way.

Kentuckyβs 6th now has 3 Rs and 3 Ds in the mix. One thing I've noticed is the R candidates talk about going to DC to fight for Trump while Ds talk about fighting for Kentucky.
I think most of us just want leaders who put regular people first. Not a billionaire or a political brand.

Homelessness jumps again in Kentucky as Trump administration moves to cut housing funds β’ Kentucky Lantern
As homelessness rises in Kentucky, especially in rural areas, Trump administration wants to cut hundreds of millions of dollars in federal housing support.
Homelessness in KY is up nearly 10%, 12% in Lexington, driven by too few affordable homes and rentals. My Houses Are Homes bill would help by stopping corporations from turning single-family homes into rental empires. Letβs put Kentucky families first.

From the time I graduated high school in 2003 to now, Kentucky fell from 1st to 24th in energy costs. While other states modernized their energy mix, we stayed stuck.
Iβm coming back from an energy conference with ideas to lower bills, create jobs, and build a more sustainable future for Kentucky.

Trump administration announces potential budget cuts to Appalachian Regional Commission
The budget cut proposal is estimated to be cut by 93%, from 200 million down to 14 million dollars.
DC Republicans want to gut the Appalachian Regional Commission by 93%, slashing support for opioid recovery, workforce development, & outdoor recreation in eastern KY. If thatβs their plan, itβs time to elect leaders whoβll actually show up for us.

Kentucky AG: βPrice fixingβ to blame for rising rent in Louisville, Lexington
Kentucky is joining the U.S. Department of Justice and several other states in suing a Texas-based company over collusion claims.
Corporate greed is driving up rent in cities across the Commonwealth. My Houses are Homes bill gives Kentuckians a fair shot, letting families make an offer before corporations swoop in to turn homes into rentals.
We need housing you can live in, not just invest in.

Churches can endorse political candidates to congregations, IRS says
Churches and other houses of worship can endorse political candidates to their congregations without risking losing their status as tax-exempt nonprofits, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service said.
Now accepting endorsements from Christian churches who preach the actual teachings of love and acceptance of Jesus Christ. Also accepting those of other faiths and spiritual centers because I believe America was founded on your having an equal voice.

Adam Moore represents Fayette, Jessamine counties in the Ky General Assembly
Under the Kentucky Constitution, most laws take effect 90 days after the legislature adjourns unless stated otherwise. This year, adjournment was March 28.
Thanks to @marioandersontv.bsky.social for having me on to recap my first legislative session.
Some bipartisanship, but too much time was spent on culture wars instead of real issues like housing and healthcare. We need to put people over politics. Always.

249 years ago, we chose liberty over monarchy and launched a bold experiment in self-government.
That promise still matters and still needs defending.
Lincoln reminded us: Government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.

I represent parts of Fayette & Jessamine Counties. Here's what the Big Ugly Budget Bill means for us:

π Jessamine: 17.5% rely on SNAP
It's not just politics, itβs about people. KY must protect our own in the next state budget.
