i don't like EVERY change the S1 dub made (there's a few parts that are genuinely meanspirited compared to the JP script) but generally speaking i think the dub is funnier for an anglophone audience and is a good retake of the series...... S2 is missing that and it's a much less memorable experience

like i think trying to make an accurate translation is an admirable goal but also "sit there and flick it while my pampered white ass gets famous without ya" is so fucking funny. i don't think i've seen any bits in s2 as willing to take liberties with the script.
