Pierrick Picaut is always my go to when it comes to rigging
They're not always simple rigs, but he always explain very clearly so you understand what you do and why you do it.
If you wonder about drivers they're not scary, at the end they're just way to say "use this value here as a value there"

Just a heads up if you did not know, you can enable the axes in the armature inspector, so you can see the local axes on the bone while you rig, and you can roll them to align them however you want
For IK the bones will "bend" along the Z axis, and will align with the pole with the X axis

Just curious, how do you approach texturing the face ? Especially the aliasing, like, do you use a soft brush ? Or go trough the pain of doing it pixel by pixel ?
