Plurality presents an interesting framework to perceive and evoke reality, and I want to really delve into my own version of that.

A big revelation for creating this story was the question: 'What if God developed DID from the traumas of their creation?'
A pantheon of a plural god, in conflict over an imperfect reality.

I also really want to put good DID representation out there, especially in genre fiction.
I have created a vast world around the concept of fractured consciousnesses. It is so fundamentally a story about the strength and pain in that which is broken.

There is a lot I can do with perspective. I might experiment with switching between 1st and 3rd person.
It also presents a lot of interesting questions to hook readers, as it makes them a pretty unique puzzle to figure out, if I do it right.

Writing a protagonist with DID is an interesting challenge, and I am having a lot of fun exploring different techniques to best evoke it.

my uni brought in a guest speaker who turned out to be advertising a shitty ai writing assistant app and incited pandemonium in my class of creative writers

I am fine with needing to learn script writing, but we could have learned the basics before, instead of one of the many near-identical modules over the last 2 years.
I am stressing the fuck out over mastering a new form from nothing in 6 weeks, entirely avoidably.

But this heavily-weighted assignment requires us to write a script adaptation of a novel and script a video essay on it in 6 weeks (and more). We haven't been taught anything about scriptwriting and were not told we would need to until right now 😭

I am here to focus on writing for a few years, build connections, get feedback, and have external pressure encouraging me to write...

Why did I do a creative writing degree, this academia shit is antithetical to creative development.
I am a bit believer in creativity blossoming in response to limitations, but these are genuinely limiting.

We wrote super plural-coded stories before realising too. It is CRAZY what you put into your art without realising.

We keep basing our characters on our alters without realising.
One even named herself the same as one that is just her, without anyone making any connection for months.
