1. Rapid Pro WNTR (can switch to RPD on bad double cooler maps)
2. NZAP (MAYBE tri/dapple on very specific maps like flounder, urchin etc)
3. Slosher
4. Stamper

That's some significant damage. Still might be fixable, but the battery is a huge hazard. The reason batteries inflate is when the cells are damaged, they offgas oxygen...

While the cells are still sealed, it's relatively safe, but if it ever gets punctured... prepare for fire

If these are the weapons that get a 3rd kit, there is something notable about them (minus shot, splash, stamper)

Most of them, to some degree, remained outside the meta since S3 started. In other words, these weapons were least used & never had the time to shine equivalent to a machine for example

It seems like at least in Splatoon 3's case they kept the input delay mostly the same and its just the new controller being built a bit better causing it to feel better.
I can understand the limitations to balance cross console but I hope S4 cuts these numbers down. At least you can wire procon 2.

USB 2.0 uses two wires for data (with opposite polarities) exactly to cancel out interference.

I feel like it’s a mix of placebo and also the lack of lag (the lobby used to chug when you first load in)

LANs are not prohibiting Switch 2 consoles because of input delay.

They're banning it because switching between a Switch 1 dock and a Switch 2 dock nearly every time someone sits down will cause something to break & will cause delays.

1-2 Lite docks aren't a problem, but 50% on 1 and 50% on 2 is.
