i was in my painting 1 class. I don't remember the exact project, but everyone had to glue at least one thing to their canvas and incorporate it into a painting. i chose pompoms and pipe cleaners.

I actually think it's extremely good and healthy to experience art that makes you uncomfortable. discomfort is not equivalent to real, tangible harm. at the very least y'all should recognize uncomfortable art's right to exist, and to carry on with your life without making it everyone else's problem.
